Professional Development Day Indigenous Exercises

During our Professional Development Day on September 29, 2025, staff across our District engaged in meaningful learning experiences thoughtfully prepared by our Indigenous Education Department.

One highlight was the Blanket Exercise — an informative and deeply reflective experience that the Indigenous Education Council wished all staff to participate in. Guided by school leaders, the exercise offered powerful opportunities for reflection, dialogue, and connection.

It was a day of learning that encouraged us to pause, reflect, and carry forward a deeper understanding of Truth and Reconciliation together.
